On December 28 2006, Evan Chaffee, the 2004 Tenaja Chief, 2006 Wiatava Lodge Chief and Section Chief was elected as the OA National Chief. Back in 2004 Evan lead Tenaja to be the most improved Chapter.

On February 29, Evan along with other scouts from across the country presented the 2006 BSA Report to the Nation to President Bush in the Oval Office. Evan spent a week in Washington. OA Bulletin


The Wiatava Lodge banquet held in January was held at the Marconi Auto Museum. Tenaja presented Evan with a custom car to assist in his travels throughout the country meeting fellow arrowmen in his new position as National Chief!

On Dec 21, 2006 Tenaja held their Chapter Banquet at Peppinos. There was a gift exchange. However, some of the gifts weren’t as exchangeable as others.

However, others held true to form – “The man with the fast car – gets the girls”

The 2007 officers were presented to the audience.

Tenaja dance team performed for pack 872 at J. Serra High School on January 17. Using recorded music and the lodge regalia, John Wes R, Alec T, and Will R danced to Northern and then Southern drum beats.
