Tenaja Releases Its Second Patch
Tenaja chapter had issued only 1 patch in its history until this May. The patch celebrates the election of past Chapter Chief Evan Chaffee to the position of National Chief. The patch features Tenaja Falls on the left and our totem the cougar on the right. The patch was released in 5 border colors – black, white, red, silver and gold – all signed by Evan.

30 numbered sets of black, white, and red were made. These sets were sold for $30 each and sold out very quickly. 80 patches each of silver and gold borders were made. The silver border patches were sold for $5 and have also sold out. Two have been sold on Ebay for $25 and $31. The first 50 gold bordered patches were given to Evan to be used as Chief gifts. The other 30 will be used for Chapter gifts between the Advisors and Officers.
Pow Wow
Pow-wow was held Sept 7-9 at Lost Valley. Tenaja did very well in Lodge Ball, water polo and ultimate Frisbee.

Our spirit hats and potlatch were very popular.

We assembled the potlatch kits with instructions at our last meeting. We made 200 kits! Three members of Tenaja received the Vigil honor – Leonard Long, Nathan Marsing, and Joyce Easton.

Tenaja 2007 Fall Ordeal
On September 28-29, the Wiatava Fall Ordeal was held at Oso Lake. The Ordeal consisted of dumping years of broken boats and a large windmill into 30 foot dumpsters. We also did general cleanup of the camp.
